We arrived at the park around 7:45. There was no attendant so we paid on the honor system. It was $6/pp for out of state residents. There were a few cars in the parking lot, but when we left around 8:45 the parking lot was filling up. It’s a cute trail system with a lot of options for hiking.
Great park for a hike close to the water. The trails were mostly easy with beautiful scenery along each one. The rocky descent to the water on some of the trails can be tricky but worth it. The park rangers were friendly and excited about their job.
This is a really nice park! Not too crowded, lots of great trails, lots of picnic areas, and fun little sites to see along the way. The trails are marked with signs that were easy to follow, and I didn't feel lost at any point. The walk itself was very manageable.
This quiet coastal state park is absolutely stunning - pictures really don’t do it justice. It boasts a wonderful diversity of habitat and breathtaking panoramas, all of which is subtly peppered with botanical gems like lady-slippers that line the well-maintained trails.
