Such a beautiful place! Such a gorgeous trail. There is alot of roots and stumps but it was so worth it! It was so peaceful! Pet friendly! Charlie loved it too!
A great trail for those who enjoy the journey over the destination. Pretty flat and ambling through old forest, cut forest and newly replaced growth as well as mossy beds carpeting the forest floor. It can get pretty wet, even awhile after the last rain the dog still manages to get ankle deep in gunk.
Excellent trails, well marked. The trails are hilly wiith exposed tree roots so it is not an easy trail to run. This is my go to trail as it is not crowded.
Jack’s Trail in the Chase Reserve was an enjoyable hike. I would say mostly flat and easy but there are some roots, bog bridges, short inclines/ declines, and slippery/ muddy areas to be aware of depending on weather conditions.
