Confirmed from Woodruff Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This riverside promenade on the Columbus State University campus plays host to many college events.
What runners say about Woodruff Riverfront Park
“Clean bathrooms but no soap in the men's room or towels nor do I believe the hand dryer works but the river views are spectacular”
“Wonderful place to take a relaxing walk with stunningly beautiful Scenery all around, especially the Riverwalk, the river, bridges, Rapids and the islands.”
“This is the perfect place for a picnic, romantic walk or just a good quiet place to read or think.”
We spent April 1st this year in Columbus Georgia exploring the Dragonfly Trail, which led us here! This is a happening place! The atmosphere was lively. Plenty of fun for the whole family.
What a wonderful place to digest a meal. The entire scenery was just beautiful. The river was flowing pretty fast, birds chirping, people biking, running, fishing, and going on the Zip Line across and over the river. I really liked it there.
I took a nice long walk after breakfast and went by 1000 Bay Avenue, Columbus, Georgia..The Riverwalk is a very nice, well kept, clean, and safe walk along the Flint River. I believe it's a 22 mile.trail. I might have walked 2.of.those miles.
Easy walk by the river, easy parking, nearby food and activities, play area for kids. We watched kayaks go through the rapids. The walkways have railings near the edges. On this day, we saw a wedding happen briefly at the rivers edge. Theres something for everyone here! Great place to walk dogs, or watch the dogs walk.
