Confirmed from Lakebottom Park/Hill Field's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular park featuring multiple baseball fields plus a track, playgrounds and picnic tables.
What runners say about Lakebottom Park/Hill Field
“Great lively park with a running trail, playgrounds, track, large grass areas, tennis courts and more.”
I had a wonderful two mile walk!! The park was absolutely peaceful. I also enjoyed seeing different people walking independently, with a loved one, walking their dog or out for a jog. 😘
I think Lakebottom is a jewel of a park in the rough of the city. This long narrow park manages to offer a picturesque stroll despite only being a few hundred feet wide in spots. A great place for running or walking.
I like running here. The track often gets filled with people walking slowly, standing, exercising in the running lanes. It's a little annoying. The larger sidewalk path that circles both sides of the park is better.
My favorite place to get a good walk. The paths are pretty level, there's a good mix of sun and shade. I have always felt safe here. Always mindful of my surroundings though!
