Confirmed from Wortman Park | East entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed, family-friendly spot for walking, disc golf, barbecues, and play structures.
What runners say about Wortman Park | East entrance
“Such as this case, we had a baby shower for my daughter and the facilities were clean.”
“Nicely paved walking path with a mix of direct sunshine and shade from trees as you walk the paths.”
“This place has great events for kids of all ages.”
Plenty of water fountains and benches scattered throughout the park. They have a disc golf course set up through the park as well. They have multiple large group areas with barbecues, plenty of picnic tables and counter space at some. 2 playgrounds set at opposite ends of the park.
Nice park and conveniently located. I just wish the disc golf areas were marked or didn't exist at this location.. nothing quite like having a sharp piece of plastic flying at your face while walking with your child and dog.
I grew up in yam Hill County in Mort's park has always been a great place to go, especially if you're wanting to just walk around in the park, play Frisbee Golf or have a family get together. Such as this case, we had a baby shower for my daughter and the facilities were clean.
First visit to this awesome park. It has two playgrounds, two bathrooms and parking at both entrances. Nicely paved walking path with a mix of direct sunshine and shade from trees as you walk the paths.. And on weekends the nearby senior center has overflow parking off McDaniel.
