Confirmed from Yelm-Tenino Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Fun trail to ride on. Clean and well marked with signs. Dad and I are fans of the tiny stop signs. Lol

I've only been through about half of the trail but it is well maintained and a nice place to ride or walk. Not much as far as views are concerned but still a nice enough trail.

★★★★★ — Fuzzy , Jul 2025

Fun easy trail, paved the whole distance. Started 2024 with a chilly out and back between Yelm and Tenino with lunch at Subway in Tenino. It was a great start to the new year!

★★★★★ — Brett , Jan 2024

Awesome trail!! Well maintained and great directional arrows to help everyone stay on the proper side of the trail. Most encounters were positive with proper yielding and trail awareness!! Connected to a longer trail taking you all the way into Olympia. Really great views and scenery.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
