Great place to hike. I believe it's better by the end of winter, but it's also doable in the middle of summer. You have many trees, which makes it easy to walk in the shade. The upper section is great, but I recommend the lower section, where you can clearly see the city (which is beautiful) and you have the wind.
A beautiful and popular place to hike. One for both the young and old as well as the adventurous and timid. The view of the city from the rim is can be beautiful. There are so many trails to go down or climb. An hour there just does not do stopping there justice. Easily plan on a couple of hours.
So many trails, it’ll always be one of my favorite walks! There’s a lot of broken glass and garbage on certain parts but for the most part it’s a gorgeous hike! There’s some hidden old cars and tons of trails and different places to go! I’ve seen people hammock up there and i’ve always wanted to!
Beautiful. So many different trails to take for all hikers of any level, it's amazing. The rock formations are incredible. You can definitely see the story they tell. Unfortunately there was a lot of graffiti, but otherwise it was a very clean park overall.
