Confirmed from 1North Adventure Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is my happy place. The trails are still very much under construction with lots of good things to come. I love discovering what's new every time I come hike. Top tip for Google Maps users.. if you scan the QR code on the info board at the parking lot, it will bring up the trail map online.

Rode these trails today and I'm very excited to see how they evolve over time. Great for a workout with all the hills. Was a little muddy but that's to be expected in the low lying areas. Glad to have more multi use trails here and definitely exited for some single track additions.

Nice, clean trails. Some areas are getting gravel. The longest trail, soda trail, has signs everywhere, but occasionally got a bit confused on which trail direction. The signs have arrows but they all point "up".

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at 1North Adventure Trails

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
