Confirmed from Abrams Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Abrams Trailhead
“Had a great time on this beautiful trail !”
Vigorous uphill. There are hardly any other hikers, among the way. Small dirt patch for parking. Beautiful views. No restrooms
Nondescript entrance. There was not a single person on the trail when we went on a Friday afternoon. Mostly all uphill from the entrance. Very good leg workout. Beautiful views of Agoura Hills. The negative part is going back down. Lots of loose rocks and dirt— easy to slide or trip.
A great uphill trail with a clear view of the as of yet almost complete wildlife crossing that will help increase the genetic diversity of all the flora and fauna of the Santa Monica Mountains. At the base of the trail adjacent to the active construction site is a small dirt parking lot
There is a location to hike and see the structure from above, called… “Abrams trailhead”

- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
