Great little place to walk and enjoy the scenery. Nice trail and a picnic area near the parking area make for a nice spot to bring the family. It's not too far out of the way which makes it a great spot for an afternoon getaway spot to decompress.
This was a very nice walk with easy trails and water views. The signs say to watch out for alligators, but also be on the lookout for snakes! I saw a couple in our 30 minutes here. That being said, keeping dogs at a short leash is recommended as the snakes were in the middle of walking trails.
My wife and I stopped at this small park on our drive home from Florida to take a walk. It’s only 3 miles off Route 95 making for an easy place to take a walk. There are two lakes in the park which you can walk around. We ended up walking 2 miles going around both lakes and a little extra.
What a lovely walk! We walked around one of the lakes which was 1 mile. Flat but the trail had a fair amount of overgrowth. I had to dodge poison oak a few times. Dogs are allowed on leash. Saw a few Gators. Overall really beautiful!
