Confirmed from Ala Spit County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ala Spit County Park
“Always love "the Spit" for great views, a nice walk and rockhounding.”
“We wanted some quiet time away from the crowds of Deception Pass State Park and this site looked to fit the bill.”
I love to take a walk around the Spit. Beautiful view and nice to come at all times of the tide. Dog friendly and a nice place to find a driftwood fort to relax in.
This is one of my go to places if I didn't make plans. Love to me hike here.
Fishing, birdwatching, walking on the beach. Easy parking. Off the beaten track, no pass required
Delightful place to walk especially when the tide is lower. When it is high, it can be difficult to negotiate log jams to get to the trail. I spent a beautiful afternoon here recently. The parking area is small, but so are the crowds. There are no facilities except a couple benches.
