Confirmed from Wild Azalea Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area known for its forest and hiking trails.

Discovering the Wild Azalea Trailhead at the end of the breathtaking 24-mile trek through Kisatchie National Forest was a remarkable experience. Google Maps made finding this hidden gem near Woodworth a breeze, guiding me to the perfect starting point or a serene conclusion to the adventure.
Beautiful flat trail following a creek for the first few miles. Lots of magnolia trees, baby ferns, pinecone, moss, and even some wildflowers. Enjoy these pictures of the trail in the evening on June 1st, 2023 around 7-8pm featuring my dog Bubba :)
Great trail! Cleared up after storms, there are areas that look like they received lots of damage, but there are minimal trees down on the trail across the whole 25ish miles.
A great easy hike for our family! We only did 5 miles but would love to take our bikes next time.
