Spanning 4,500 acres with trails from easy to difficult, this park has something for hikers and bikers. The Visitor's center and parking lot are right off Alicia Pkwy and they have a good sized parking lot and restrooms.
Not the typical exposed trails in soCal, Aliso and Wood Canyon trails are so comfortable to hike or bike due to many shaded path from Riparian environment. Huge oak trees.
I can here with my girlfriend and 2 teenage boys. There was plenty of parking, it's pay but only $3 for the entire day. I went to the visitor center to ask s9me questions about the trails and general about this area. They were very helpful and even had a really cool 3D map that lights up with core locations.
Wonderful trail. Easy & family friendly. Lots of wonderful scenery. Not much shade though, so be careful & take necessary precautions. Lots of cyclists, so be careful & watch your back. Free parking lot available. Clean restrooms available. Visitor's center right off the parking lot.
