It's a well kept piece of land overall located within a wealthy part of the city. It has trails, sidewalks, and steps that all lead to different parts of the preserve but are all ultimately interconnected. Plenty of benches are available along with some waste bins as well. Peaceful, pretty, and free!
Look, I needed to hit my Fitbit steps and maybe trick my brain into thinking I wasn't just existing in a concrete jungle. The Laguna Niguel Botanical Preserve delivered, and then some. This ain't your grandma's manicured garden; it's got a whimsical edge that screams, "Nature, but make it art.
Absolutely recommend coming here for a time to get in touch with nature. The smell of various plants and flowers makes it so relaxing aside from all the shade that the trees provide. There is plenty of areas to stop and sit while you begin your hiking adventure.
Small nature preserve ideal for a 30 minute hike. Worth exploring. Many great viewpoints to see the natural landscape of Southern California. Clean bathrooms are available near the playground. Plenty of picnic tables to socialize and enjoy a beautiful day.
