Confirmed from Alondra Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large, wooded park with a lake & an island where a native-plant garden attracts birds & butterflies.
What runners say about Alondra Park
“The atmosphere felt calm and natural, with birds chirping and the lake reflecting the sky in a beautiful way.”
“I visited Alondra Park with someone, and I was surprised by how peaceful and lively the entire place felt at the same time.”
Visited this park it is a nice park to walk around plenty of ducks ,geese, goose and even cranes. One thing to watch out while walking is that there’s a lot of poop in the ground and sidewalks due to the animals.
Alondra Park Fishing Pond is such a beautiful park. Tons of parking, no bike path but there are a few cyclists peddling around, just be careful and go slow for the local wildlife residents...🙂 Make sure to bring your mask, water and do not feed the wildlife!
Alondra Park was within walking distance of my Grandma's house. When I was young, in the 60's, my Grandma would give me 37 cents. 25 cents to get into the pool. The additional 12 cents was so I could buy a comic book on the way home. Really enjoyed the times I spent at Alondra. I'm 71. Taking a month long ride in May.
Its a nice park to do my daily exercise. There are squirrels running around and ducks in the lake. And a couple of restrooms around the lake. Its peaceful

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
