Confirmed from Guenser Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Guenser Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (306 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“It's a very nice park that is hidden inside a nice quiet neighborhood.”

It's in middle of a neighborhood on the north east corner of Torrance. I've lived in this neighborhood during middle and high schools. My brother and I used to play basketball and baseball here, but there are people playing soccer on the other side of the park as well.

I remember going to this park back in 2004 17 years ago while I was briefly a student in 5th grade at Arlington Elementary. Walking trail. The open field for everything including stargazing. I recently went here to watch the final Super Moon of 2021 & was the Strawberry Moon. What an amazing sight it was.

Nice simple Park. Has Baseball field, swings, slide, basketball court & nice size pathway for running and walking, one bbq gril and a few tables. Nice place to bring dogs, located in a nice neighborhood where everyone is very Vigilant. Have to park on the street. There's no inside parking.

★★★★★ — Tina , Nov 2023

Decent park in a residential neighborhood. Love the green space and running trail. Grass needs upkeep and landscaping. Playground is kid approved with varying play areas. Picnic area is standard with a handful of large tables and seats around trees.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“There is a restroom in the park, and BBQ grills for parties.”

🐕 Dog-friendly 3 mentions

“There is a path that circles around half of the park, which I would guess is about a quarter of a mile, where joggers jog and dogs walk their human.”

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
