Confirmed from Alum Creek Park North's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pretty nice place. Quite a few things to do. Good balance exercises for smaller kids (5-8 years old). Decent walking paths that are paved. They seem to use the rubber post consumer materials for their playground "mulch" - I've seen reports that some forms of this can be toxic or otherwise harmful if one has enough…

Sand volleyball pit Clean, colorful, play area with lots of things for kids to climb Waterfall and fishing spot Tons of green grass and a slight hill to run down Loads of space This is a great place for a Picnic,or to fish, play volleyball, get some energy out and much more.

A lovely park on the edge of Otterbein’s campus. Alum creek runs just west of the park. There is an amphitheater and a playground for kids. A volleyball court as well. Parking is pretty limited at this park on a busy day. Part of a bike path runs through this park as well.

★★★★★ — Collin , Mar 2024

Alum Creek Park North has an amphitheater, playground, and paths along the river. Concert nights feel lively but still family friendly, and the park is just as good on quieter days for easy walks, simple fishing, or unhurried play before or after dinner.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
