Confirmed from Sharon Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Fantastic park! This is such a great place for picnics, large gatherings, walks in nature and play dates. Close proximity to Weaterville and lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife. A nice place to hold scout troop events, parking is easy to find and the playgrounds are well maintained.

08/13/2024 - The second time this year my employer had a departmental event here and it was the perfect day. I’ve been visiting Sharon Woods Park for year. Over a decade ago, some friends and I would jog the trails.

It's a great park. Very large and lots of walking trails. Play sets are scattered around the park. The small lake was fun for the kids to throw rocks and sticks into. The natural play erea is a lot of fun as well. I come to the Columbus area about once a year and will definitely visit the park every time.

One of my favorite parks in Central Ohio. Plenty of space open. Great walking and bike paths. Great places to cook out, sitting on the shelters and do whatever you want. It is a safe place. Rangers are always driving through. If you're speeding, they will stop you.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
