Confirmed from Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park with picnic shelters, a trail for walking and a playground.
What runners say about Heritage Park
“There's even a nice well maintained shelter for gatherings once they allow it again.”
“Definitely a beautiful park with a playground, hiking trails and shelter buildings to have parties and such in.”
“Make sure to bring water though because the seating that is shaded may be a tad bit far for some people's liking to keep an eye on the kiddos.”
Play area designed for ages 5-12. Playground is a hidden gem, follow Lindimore Way until it dead ends. Westerville Sports Complex and Alum Creek Park North are nearby but their visibility from main roads (N Cleveland Ave. and W Main St.) means more traffic. Slides, monkey bars, swings, etc...
Great place. Nice trail, river, park for the kids, old homestead, fields for sports. There's even a nice well maintained shelter for gatherings once they allow it again.
Heritage Park is a beautiful park located in Westerville, Ohio. My husband takes our Labrador Retriever, Olive, to this park for their daily walk. Olive has a group of friends she meets with at the park. This is a beautiful wooded park with lovely walking paths and plenty of wildlife.
I didn't go in the Antrim Shelter, as there was a party there, but the tables appear to be square. It's not too long of a walk from the parking lot. I've included a photo of a car and the path to the Shelter. There's a nice shaded, paved walking path right next to the Shelter.

“Great parking and playground for younger kids and excellent photographic bad grounds and vistas.”
“Our first time tips: have dinner before it bring it with you, use the restroom or have a backup plan for little ones, prepare kids for the wait.”
