Confirmed from Amberglen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with a circuit path encircling a pond that’s home to ducks and geese.
What runners say about Amberglen Park
“Pack a lunch and dine at the numerous picnic tables or lay out on the gorgeous lawn with a blanket.”
Great for a short walk. Contains ponds with a foundation. Saw many ducks in the pond and geese flying around.
Cute and safe park! There are 3 different ponds and some have fountains. The path goes around the ponds in a circle and you can do laps if you’re running or biking. There is also a small outdoors workout station for adults. There’s a big grass area to play frisbee or have your dog run around.
I visited this park for my evening run and loved it. The park is green, super clean and lovely to visit on a warm sunny day. Features: Tennis table, Picnic benches, jogging track, three exercise machines.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
