Confirmed from Amboy Road River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Amboy Road River Park
“Love walking my dog there”
Great park for walking, running, biking, picnics, etc. It also has facilities for several sports, and a playground for kids. Check it out - it's big and runs parallel to Amboy Rd. and the French Broad River for quite a distance. Your tax dollars are spent wisely here to provide this fine park.
Great place to walk, dog friendly (with dog park included) picnic area, rest rooms plenty of space to just lay in the grass to enjoy the sunshine or lie in the shade, tubing and kayaking as well
Nice park with a bike trail connecting to Carrier Park. As other's have mentioned, the downside is flooding when the French Broad river is up after too much rain.
Nice place to walk or bike. Great view of the river. I rode a bike all over the park.
