Confirmed from Hominy Creek Greenway - Sand Hill Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful bright fuchsia bee balm, lovely little walk with sights to see like these! Flat and gravel- good for a little run. It’s short!
We go here because are dogs love it. They can run without leashes. The people we have met are friendly. The trail is flat and easy to walk. If you're looking for a very dog friendly place, Hominy Greenway is the place to go!! There is also a creek for the dogs to swim in or just cool off.
My daughter's go to in town trail!! Good upkeep and they also have a few picnic tables here and there!! Two different entrances with some parking available!! Very peaceful and it is a natural beautiful outdoor space. Saw a deer there today!!
Love going here, we take walks here, most every other day or at least 3 times a week if possible, it's great with your pet to walk, and it has a little sand beach part to go to once you reach the middle of this trail.

- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
