Confirmed from American Heroes Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about American Heroes Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (330 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“I hope it’s still being built out and that they’ll add more shade and actual bathrooms.”

👟 good for all levels 4 mentions

“Absolutely amazing, my niece and nephew love it so much to do for all ages!”

Went to the fair with my fiancée and saw Pet Rock. It was our first time to the park. It was a bit of a walk to where we needed to go, but the lake and fountain were nice scenery, and the fair looked enjoyable.

It is a nice park ih ide open spaces and nice trails. It is a nice size lake, and people were catching fish.

This park is awesome. There’s a beautiful trail around a water feature that a lot of people were walking on. The playground is huge and has such a variety for children to play on—I just wish it wasn’t so far from us. Also, there was sticky stuff spilled in several areas which attracted swarms of bees.

Love coming here to go for a walk and unwind. It does get very sunny out there! And gets a little more windy i feel. Nice level walking trail. Usually several dogs that go. But sometimes there's not. There is alot a dirt trail toward the edge of the parking lot we love to walk.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
