Confirmed from Amesbury Riverwalk's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Amesbury Riverwalk
Nice short paved bike/walking trail that starts in downtown Amesbury and takes you along the Powow River. The trail eventually turns into the Salisbury Point Ghost Trail. That trail is packed stone dust not paved and will take you to Salisbury.
Great trail. Usually plenty of parking. Trail path is paved the whole way. Great place to walk your dog. Peaceful and the people are pleasant. I've walked my dogs almost everywhere in eastern Massachusetts over the course of 20 years and this is one of my favorites, like top 3.
Pretty nifty little trail! Connects to several other local area trails. Out and back for us, was a couple of miles total. Ran into other locals and dog walkers who suggested how you could start here and turn the trail into part of a 5k loop around Amesbury.
