Confirmed from Ann J. Gardner Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Small quiet park with pjay areas, good for a pet walk”

Such a wonderful way to take a break from the sun, and maybe your day to day. The wonderful sounds of the Coal Creek running through the park. Plenty of soft green grass to run around on. Not a huge park, but it's just a thoroughfare to the best parts of Southern Utah. The Scenery

A beautiful park with a stream running through it and access to multiple walking trails.

★★★★★ — Nathan , Oct 2023

Fun park with lots of shade and a decent parking lot. There are bathrooms on site and often lots of families so there's usually plenty of kids to play with. A perfect summer spot!

★★★★★ — Michelle , Feb 2026

Huge park room enough for everyone. I enjoy walking on the paved trails and the kids blade and walk their dogs. We go up the mountain a bit and drop off the bikers and meet them at the park for a fun time. In the winter it is fun as well, but they lock the bathrooms during winter months. Some hills for sledding.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
