Confirmed from Canyon Park, East Side's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space on Coal Creek with a picnic pavilion, playground, shade trees & BBQ grills.

Sensory review at 7pm on July 22, 2025. Sight: Shady in the evenings, beautiful views of red rocks. Watching the water in the concrete ditch is very nice. Sound: Stream in trees is 50 dB, east grassy area is similar with background noise of people talking, children playing (and yelling), and cars and semis passing by.
One of my favorite parks! Clean, can always find parking, grass is beautifully maintained, love the creek running down the center of it, dogs love it, safe, clean bathrooms, beautiful Mountain View, along with walking/biking trail that leads u up into Cedar Mountain - good for exercise with a pretty view.
Very neat place and beautiful hike to the waterfall. It takes about 20 minutes to bike maybe 40 minutes to walk but the way back on a bike is a cruise 10 minutes max. The water is cold in June but you see people swimming all the time. The view of the mountains is just extraordinary.
