Confirmed from Arapahoe Trailhead - Cherry Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Arapahoe Trailhead - Cherry Creek Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (34 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Great place for taking your dog for a walk. Has a nice paved path and a stream if your dog enjoys water.

★★★★★ — D , Nov 2022

It's a part of the Cherry Creek trail system, with a clean trail and open space. I recommend this space for cyclists and people with pets. The area is next to the Arapahoe road/Parker road intersection and shopping areas with food areas nearby.

★★★★★ — Mile , Jan 2024

This is a very nice spot, with access very near the intersection of Arapahoe and Parker Road. Paved trail makes it easy to explore. This entrance is pretty near an interesting water feature in the creek, with about a 15 minute or less walk from the parking area. Dogs seem to love it also.

★★★★★ — Pete , Aug 2024

Incredible Colorado weather provided a great road bike ride on the Cherry Creek trail. Plenty of room for everyone and the dogs too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
