Confirmed from Armstrong Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The nostalgia that comes with this park, it's amazing to find a wooden playground still standing! Thank you city of Duncanville for keeping it alive! We had a blast running through, over, and under all the wooden castles and play areas!

My son loves the park and the playground. Always a good time to watch the fireworks at the park on July 4th. Like all the activities that are planned throughout the year. Also a good place to run at. Stumbled upon this car show this afternoon. My son loved it. Having car shows in your town is cool and accessible!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
