Confirmed from Waterview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Waterview Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (228 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“It was clean, had a convenient parking lot and we got a wonderful walk in with our baby.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Overall very nice and quiet park to bring a few and hang out and get your exercise!”

Nice little park for walking and bringing the kiddies to play. The kids can also fish for sunfish/bluegill since there are quite a few of them. The pond has some fairly decent size Bass as well but never caught a Catfish or Rainbow trout as the sign may represent but they are supposed to be in here.

★★★★☆ — Kevin , Nov 2016

Nice little fishing spot with a playground for the kids. Walkway is paved all the way around and parking lot is clean and paved. The creek runs behind this park and is another hidden fishing spot or a great place to relax and gather your thoughts.

nice little park, with a nice little fishing hole! didn't manage to catch anything except for a bunch of moss, so i switched to my topwater. they have a nice walking trail, and a playground area for the kids.

★★★★★ — Seth , May 2025

I loved this place. It's not really a kid park because of the water but great fishing area and geat for walking and just a peaceful time aways in the city but a feel of being in the country by the lake. Go check it out

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 4 mentions

“Nice playground, plenty of parking, you can fish, walk or run around on paved path, and there are two picnic tables (one with grill).”
