“An easy trail at the beginning.”
Overall, I really like this trail, in all the seasons but winter. While a lot of the trail isn't challenging, some of it between the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge and the Power Authority station make up for it.
An easy trail at the beginning. The trail gets a little more difficult after passing under the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. It will take you to the northern edge of the Power Authority. Great for dogs and hikers of all ages. Great gorge and river views.
Absolutely the best ledge trail I've ever been on, short and easy if you just do the gorge trail and nothing else, but I highly recommend linking it with the River's Edge Trail
1.4 miles short hike along Hudson River delta continued by claiming to the rim. Total is about 4 miles for the loop. We enjoyed an astonishing view of the power station upfront
