Atkinson Common in Newburyport truly offers delightful morning walks. It's a consistently pleasant experience to stroll through this historic Victorian-era park as the day begins. You'll find a variety of features to enjoy, including serene formal gardens, a charming lily pond with a bridge, and a picturesque gazebo.
This place is really beautiful and peaceful really good to walk or just relax and read a book or manga and it's a lot bigger than you thing there's baseball fields and a playground that just got renovated and my kids love it so much the little old one was nice but it's better.
What a great small park to get some fresh air, socially distance, and walk the dog. Nicely maintained. Save the tower!
Lovely park even in the drizzly cold weather. It must look beautiful in the summer with flowering shrubs. There's a cool stone tower in the center of the park although we couldn't go in it. There were a few dog walkers enjoying the day and thankfully, they had poop bags with them.
