Confirmed from William Lloyd Garrison Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about William Lloyd Garrison Trail
“Great walk with views of Merrimack and Historic postings and beautiful views of Chain bridge.”
Really nice paved bike/walking trail. It starts at the back of the greyhound bus stop parking lot. The trail takes you over the John Greenleaf Whittier Bridge with some nice views along the way.
I love this trail. It brings easy transport from port to Amesbury, and is also beautiful.
Great walk with views of Merrimack and Historic postings and beautiful views of Chain bridge. There is walking and a great biking paved trail. Highway noise is abundant.
Paved Bike/Walking/Running trail. It goes across the Merrimack River. It is right next to the highway, so it can be loud, but it has nice views.
