So I was very pleasantly surprised by this little trail. We walk in and are immediately greeted by a little river. As you walk further into the woods it feels more like you’re in a fantasy novel — you just get completely caught up in the nature.
Parker Woodland is one of the more popular hiking spots in RI. The trails have some mild hills with plenty of rocks and roots. The trails are easy to follow.
I like this walk for its level of difficulty. Fairly challenging for a RI hike. Also some interesting things to see in the way of archeological treasures.
I stumbled upon the trail while I was canvassing a block. I had to take the trail. Thank goodness I was wearing good shoes for hiking. It was lovely hike.
