Confirmed from Audubon Wetlands Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Boardwalk strolls through tranquil woodlands and wetlands amid birds and other wildlife.
What runners say about Audubon Wetlands Trail
“The trails are wide and easy to access and it’s clean along the trails.”
“My uncle brought me and it was not only a beautiful hiking spot, but it was the most connected to nature I've felt in a long time.”
“Great for a nice walk through the woods to calm down beautiful swampy with a small size family safe trail”
Five out of five would recommend this trail, it’s an easy walk I think about a mile and a half, it’s in a circle with a nice boardwalk over the marsh. We took our dogs, and had no problem whatsoever.
We visit the Wetlands often! It’s a beautiful hike. Short and flat so easy for everyone. The views are extraordinary and so unique for this area! We always see lots of wildlife including fish, birds, Herron’s, frogs, snakes, and more. Fishing is not allowed fyi.
Ok this is exactly what it says. An awesomely done boardwalk, but the details in location are what makes this area different. The Green River and Ohio River meet just several hundred yards away creating a lush environment for nature. The location is in one of the best areas for bird watching as well.
A nice little hidden gem for people like me that enjoy being outdoors. I wish I’d known of this place sooner. The trails are wide and easy to access and it’s clean along the trails.
