Great trail for a weekend hike or bike ride. There are 2 different trails. One about 2 miles (loop) and the other close to 6 miles (out and back). Nice views and good variety of elevation with some shade the further you go out.
This trailhead offers two loop trails (about 2.5 miles total) with stunning views of the Reno skyline and springtime flower blooms. There is a pit toilet and covered picnic tables at the trailhead. The park is equestrian friendly and includes parking accommodations for horse trailers.
Great hiking paths some with elevation. Leads to Anderson Park. Very clean restrooms. Horses. Picnic area. Wear a hat. Events occur here often.
Ballardini ranch trail is a fun, not too hard of a hike. There is plenty of sage brush and little shade, good to hike in the winterish months. There little to no snow on the trail at the end of November. The majority of the trail is rocky, not good for strollers, but it might be fun on a bike.
