Confirmed from Quail Run Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly hiking area featuring a trail that follows a canal and offers scenic views.
What runners say about Quail Run Nature Trail
“Clean and well maintained, plenty of space for every one, ample parking.”
“Connected to a trail that goes to top of hill with great views of the Truckee Meadows.”
One of the trails in Bartley Ranch County Park Just a segment of our usual loop of park. Follows a canal through a brushy hillside. Connected to a trail that goes to top of hill with great views of the Truckee Meadows. Part of my regular hike rotation.
It's a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere. It's pleasant to have a quiet walk without running into many people. Not too much in the form of wildlife, but it's open for fields of flowers at the right time of the year
Beautiful, well maintained, short moderate trail. I love how convenient it is in Reno, and I love the mix of dry desert trail and wooded creek. This is my favorite for when I don't have half a day to dedicate to my hike.
Love hiking here as it’s close to my house and there’s a variety of trails you can take. Bonus is how the view is breathtaking while enjoying your hike.
