Confirmed from Barchester Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Quiet park with a playground and fields for soccer and basketball.
What runners say about Barchester Park
“Greating walking trail, quiet and well kept.”
“It was quiet and cold and exactly what I was looking for.”
“I love to walk my dogs at this park.”
A spacious park. Nice playscape for children. Trails, both paved and natural, are suitable for walking, jogging and biking. Nice spot for a picnic and kite flying.
Walked the loop after dark. Was surprised to find that Canton twp plowed the loop when it snows! It was quiet and cold and exactly what I was looking for. Have a decent pair of boots on as there can be done standing water on the path.
A nice neighborhood park. A tiered play structure with 2 slides. Large fields with a dog run around the outside. Couple of basketball hoops and a tennis court
Greating walking trail, quiet and well kept. Also has two play structures, one in the front and one in the back for kids.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
