Confirmed from Bare Cove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 484-acre riverfront park has miles of paved, multi-use trails & diverse plant & animal life.
What runners say about Bare Cove Park
“The well kept park and walking paths, the people who genuinely get engaged in conversation.”
“There is beautiful trees, you can see the marsh and walk all the way to the water or you can take another path and walk amongst the beautiful tree lined path.”
“They do offer "off leash" dog walking every other day, although dogs are welcome everyday.”
We actually planned on going to worlds end but did not know you needed to make reservations. So Bare Cove Park was close by and I’m really happy we decided to hike! Well worth the visit. Easy parking. Beautiful views, and plenty people walking dogs. Very friendly place and easily accessible.
As a local Hingham resident, I walk in the park every day that I can; it’s a gem for the greater community, and I highly encourage everybody to get out and check this place out. I’m lucky enough to have this park within walking distance of my condo, and it’s one of the most underutilized parks in the area.
Loved all the different trail options. Some are paved and others are through the woods. Some trails boarder the ocean. There were a lot of people here, so I made sure to wear a mask whenever passing others because I'm a medical professional. Came across some artwork in the woods.
This is a lovely place to go for a walk or bike ride. Easy inclines, so biking or roller scooter with kids is great too. Dogs on leash are welcome. Shady and sunny areas. Very clean and well-maintained, Beautiful views of the water.
