Confirmed from Barrett Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Cute little park. The playground looks like it has missed a couple mulch drops and could use a little paint, but nothing was broken or unusable. Great little park for walking or running on a circuit. Mostly round gravel/dirt trail. 3 times around is 1 mile. Gazebo in the center. There is also a small playground

★★★★★ — Maria , Dec 2019

Tree lined gravel path to walk, a portion of which has a slight incline/decline. 3 laps is 1 mile. Level grass area in the center for field sport. Gazebo also available. Pets okay, but must be leashed. Appropriate receptacles and bags conveniently placed. Small play area (tot lot), with various equipment and benches.

The hidden garden. No garden included. This is a beautiful place to have quiet walk without having to go to a big park. The area is surrounded on all sides by tall tress and almost hides that your in a neighbor hood.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
