Confirmed from Basil Marella Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Basil Marella Park
“I love taking a scenic walk with friends !”
“Great trail especially during inclement weather the trees create a natural canopy to shield you from the rain for the most part”
Great place for shorter to medium walks with the pup. The main paved trail is very shady and provides good walking even on hot sunny days. Hidden back of the main path is an 18-hole disc golf corse as well. The park has playgrounds for the little ones, tennis courts and and public bathrooms that are generally clean.
Beautiful park! There are soccer fields, a playground and trails to walk on. I just went over the weekend to see the foliage because it was absolutely wonderful😊.
Beautiful park! Absolutely gorgeous walking trails in the woods and the fitness center at the enterence is nice
Great park lots for folks to do. Playground for kiddos lots of picnic tables and trails to hike and tennis courts. There's a dog park that you can pay to use if you like to let your doggos off leash. My only gripe is that FAR too many people let there dogs off leash in the regular park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
