Really cool place with a lot of history that we aren’t really taught in school sadly. I didn’t get to explore as much as I’d like to but will be back for sure. For some extra spooky vibes, I got to the trail at 5 AM and there was lots of low fog so it was super cool.
Great hiking area with main paths that go off in several directions. Goes for miles and has been recently trimmed brush and branch's trees cleaned and out of way. There is water ways and dirt rock paths as well.
It is only a short walk to the River. Easy walking path is mostly flat.
