Confirmed from Beaver Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Beaver Lake Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,128 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Great place to see ducks foraging among lily pads and the facility buildings are clean and inviting.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“This place is a beautiful little park next to a small lake with plenty of trails and areas to sit and enjoy the lake view.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 7 mentions

“It was quiet and the pavilion felt secluded, yet non-guests were all around doing their own thing.”

Wonderful thinking spot in the mornings! The trail is nice and kept up, and the open spaces are begging dogs to zip around and act loony - plenty of spare sticks lying around that looked like they've send a round or two of fetch. The pond was serene and there are benches for you to rest and take in the sight.

This place is a beautiful little park next to a small lake with plenty of trails and areas to sit and enjoy the lake view. I fish here occasionally (catch and release) for small mouth bass, trout, and crappies. It doesn't get crowded and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves.

very nice park, lots of paved walking paths. the totem pole here is pretty massive and impressive to see. looks like there's a lodge here used for events maybe weddings. pretty nice. bathrooms available for public use no fee park plenty of parking. definitely worth a checkout if u have kids or dogs and want to explore.

A beautiful lake after a short trail walk! There are few picnic tables by lake, can do fishing and enjoy sunny days with your kids!! There are places to play some outdoor sports like Badminton or a Volleyball etc(bring your own play kits). Love the place!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Beaver Lake Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
