Confirmed from Soaring Eagle Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“Very easy hike, tough to be in trail if you want to hike the longest - really nice that there are forks if you want to cut the hike short and return back.”

My goal in visiting this park during January was to seek out new forms of fungi, certainly didn't disappoint! A notable feature at Soaring Eagle regional park would be the areas where the scenery is completely teeming with moss! I can only imagine the landscape during the other seasons.

Very complex network of bike trails and hiking paths. The park is large, heavily wooded and there are many miles of trails. The mountain bike trails are pretty technical. Some steep hills but mostly rocks, slippery roots, boulders and tight turns.

05apr2022 TUE, 40s_F 09:45 -to- low 50s_F 11:45, our (Swee and me) second visiting/rambling Soaring Eagle Regional Park .. its still as lovely. And this morning, we had a fun time appreciating the beauty of mushrooms, moss, lichens, and flowers 😄 We did the route CW: (T) > Double D > Sleigh Ride > Pipeline Trail > ..

This is a nice park, mostly forest trails, wetlands and a couple small streams. Popular for biking in summer. The parking lot was a sheet of ice today, so was the main trail, the smaller side trails were ok, with some snow and little ice.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
