This Trail Is Amazing. Me and my friend walked it two days ago and the trail is well maintained, there are multiple benches to sit at, and multiple plaques talking about the animals and ecosystem placed throughout it, and it changes from deciduous forest, to meadow, to marshland (with beavers), and to straight deep…
I love to hike and bird, and this place provides a 0.98 mile trail around marshy ponds. Two benches along the trail give a nice spot to rest and watch for wildlife. As you walk the trail you will find three sign posts that give interesting bits of history (see attached pictures). I definitely plan to go back.
This was a surprisingly a really nice trail. Love the history that this place has!!
This area may not be know for its soaring mountains or sandy beaches, but this is an example of local beauty and charm. On our walk we were surrounded by lush greenness and spotted whitetail deer, and watched baby foxes play. Amazing!
