Beavertail State Park quickly became one of my favorite coastal spots. I spent a few hours just walking along the cliffs and watching the waves hit the shore. It’s the kind of place that feels calming the moment you arrive.
This place is perfect for picnic watching the sunset (right next to the lighthouse though it gets super super dark). Free, ample parking, nice little loops with simple trails. Love the rock formation, super slated. A friend told me about this, soo appreciate it. Caution: beware of ticks in the trails
One of the most scenic views in Rhode Island. Love this special state park, with the trails and coast line. Lighthouse,museum, and aquarium, along with great fishing from the rocks. Careful not to slip and be sure to keep an eye on the tides if you are fishing close to the water.
Beautiful open trail along the oceanside. With always clean bathrooms. Such a beautiful and serene place to just sit and be quiet,meditate or pray.
