Confirmed from Taylor Point Lookout's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a trail, fishing, and a bridge with scenic views.
What runners say about Taylor Point Lookout
“Cool little known spot that looks under the Newport bridge, few parking spots and a great view”
This is the best place to take picture of Newport bridge. There is no lifeguard. The beach is pebbly. Bring water shoes. From parking point it’s about 0.1mile trail to the lookout point. You will often find people fishing over there. Free parking. Restroom is also available there.
Good place to take pictures of the bridge. It's a short walk down the gravel path to the water. Lots of large boulders you can scramble over to get closer to the bridge. Pit toilet available.
This is a cool spot with scenic views. The GPS takes you further to private property, and the small lot can be misleading. Once you travel the small trail though, it opens up.
This was a nice little stop to get a great view of the Pell Bridge. That being said it's a short trail and short trip. Not a ton to see here and not amazingly marked, but worth the stop.
