This is great little hike that most everyone would enjoy. Not difficult but the beginning has a little bit of elevation to keep your heart pumping. Many of trails are wide and all are very well maintained. There’s a lot of varied scenery with a pond and some open fields. It is really a gem.
Tanager Hill has been on my to-hike list for several months. The completion of the parking lot, coupled with dry weather, made for a good hike day. The parking area is gravel, with a single paved spot for a disabled person.
Easy, versatile walk with several small routes running in a loop. Well marked at multiple points with trail map. Great for birding or dog walk, hike with kids as you can customize the length. Beautiful landscape with wetlands and the Lucy brook.
Walked several of the trails today with one of the property stewards. Very nice place for a leisurely walk through woods and meadows.
