Stopped here to get my cold water exposure in the river. There was a man playing with his dog, and after he left, I had the beach and river all to myself. While I was in the river, there was a landslide with some rocks sliding down the hill of the big rock face area.
Extremely easy to get to while still feeling surrounded by nature. There are three 'trails' from the parking area and two-ish 'trails' that loop back by the river connecting the three other trails. The shore is a mixture of sandy, pebble, rocky, and large stones depending on whoch section you stop at.
Absolutely gorgeous place to visit all-year-round. Just a few miles from cities like Maple Valley, Renton, Kent and Fairwood, this beautiful riverview is within walking distance of the scenic Cedar River Trail.
Great place to go if you need to take a few steps back, get away from all the noise, and re-focus what direction you want to go in life. It is very peaceful. Beautiful scenery. On this Monday afternoon there isn't very many people. Secluded gravel parking lot and a short trail walk that leads to the river.
