Confirmed from Bennett Hill Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve offering hiking and the chance to see cows and a farm.
What runners say about Bennett Hill Preserve
“The trail is very well marked, and is well maintained (there seemed to be logs in all the areas that would be prone to mud).”

Very nice preserve with different scenery. You start off along farm fields, then going uphill in the woods. The top of the preserve is more pine trees and moss. All very nice to see the different areas and views.
Fantastic hiking area and beautiful any season. Well kept trails, with many spots at the summit to picnic, sit and soak in the beautiful view, or paint the scenery. The trail does become a bit of a scramble in some spots (steep), others are more gradual of an incline.
There were very few people there on a week day which my antisocial dog and I appreciated. Very beautiful and a relatively easy hike (we didn't do the long one) Only saw one other dog and it was leashed, which is something you don't always get with hiking trails so that was nice. The leaves were amazing when we went!
Awesome trail conditions after a few nice days. Great views at the top of the hill. Can see Schenectady, Albany and even the Green Mountains in Vermont.
