Confirmed from Beulah Park Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park featuring a playground, a creek and an open-air trail network for walking and biking.
What runners say about Beulah Park Nature Area
“A beautiful park located in my hometown of Zion, Illinois.”
“Can even enjoy a nice walk on a hot sunny day due to all the shade you have.”
“Clean Quiet park lots of grass to run away from Street”
It is larger than you expect once you are inside the Park. There is one asphalt Trail that goes from the Southside of the Park to the Northside. With several mountain bike course's from easy to difficult. I am from the area and I have gotten turned around inside the Park on those trails, so pay attention to the sun.
Growing up in my teen years in Zion, Beulah Park was always the place to hang out. Lots of cool little trails and a winding Kellogg Creek. Fast forward to the modern era and these trails are all set up very nicely for mountain biking.
It has a brand new playground, and a shaded path through the woods. There are also plenty of bike trails to ride if you have a bike which is the main reason most people come. Some include jumps, a log to ride on, and bridges. And the bike trails are kept up on pretty well. This is definitely one of my favorite parks.
It has been a great place to walk my dogs for over 20 years. Excellent bike trails also. Beautiful little park.
